Luka Chuppi is an upcoming romantic comedy film directed by Laxman Utekar. Produced by Dinesh Vijan, it stars Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon and tells the story of a television reporter in Mathura who falls in love with a headstrong woman.
While Kartik is a star reporter of a local TV channel, Kriti is a Mathura-based girl who returned to her hometown after studying in Delhi. The trailer shows Kartik proposing to Kriti for marriage but she, instead, proposes to try out live-in relationship before taking the big step. Things go for a toss when Kartik’s parents come to live with the couple.
The film, also starring Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana and Vinay Kumar, promises to be a rom-com, based in an assuming society.
