Bharat
is an upcoming drama film directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and jointly produced by Atul Agnihotri, Alvira Khan Agnihotri, Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Nikhil Namit and Salman Khan. The film stars Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Tabu, and Disha Patani with Varun Dhawan in a Cameo appearance.
On 25th Jan 2019 Salman Khan released the 1st teaser.
The one-minute-26-seconds trailer begins at a train station, where hundreds of people are trying to board. Set in 1947, during the Partition of India and Pakistan, Bharat is shown first as a young boy. In his deep, powerful voice, Salman Khan introduces his character in the teaser and why he is named Bharat. He also says that he doesn’t believe in caste and creed as he is named after the nation. Dividing his name along the lines of caste and creed would just be demeaning the greatness of the nation.
