Daddy is a biopic on Arun Gawli, a gangster turned politician. The teaser gives a glimpse of the character. With the film, Arjun Rampal has also stepped into a new journey of his life. He revealed at the official teaser launch that he actually started working on the script himself and penned down the story.
Arun Gawli was nicknamed ‘Daddy’ as he was considered the Robin Hood of his chawl in Mumbai. He was sentenced to life imprisonment in 2012 for the murder of a Shiv Sena leader.
