Rajesh Khanna, the leading actor went on to become the very first & best Superstar Hindi Cinema has ever produced – Rajesh Khanna. Unfortunately, his place in history seems to have been overshadowed in recent years & the aim in sharing this documentary is to, hopefully, show the Hindi Film Fan worldwide just what all the fuss was about.
This documentary “Bombay Superstar Rajesh Khanna” was broadcast as part the ‘Man Alive’ series on BBC 2 in 1973. Later repeated in 1982 & as part of the ‘Festival of India’ that took place that summer in the UK. This is from a 2nd generation VHS copy.
