Begum Jaan is a Hindi adaptation of stellar Bengali film Rajkahini. The original film saw in the lead. The original was based in Bengal while Begum Jaan follows the partition of Punjab. Rajkahini was one of the most loved films of 2015. It even won several awards at various international film festivals. The first look of the film was posted by film’s producer Mahesh Bhatt and one of the supporting actresses of the film Pallavi Sharda. While Mahesh Bhatt captioned it, “What a woman !!” and in another tweet he wrote, “She will take you to a place in your heart which you may never go !!!” Pallavi Sharda, on the other hand, posted the image with the caption, “Hamari begum jaan ko milna zaroor! #begumjaanfirstlook”
