Nimmi (born 18 February 1933) or Nawab Banoo is a former actress who achieved stardom in the 1950s and early 1960s in Hindi films. She gained popularity playing spirited village belle type characters, but has appeared in diverse genres such as fantasy and social films. Nimmi is regarded as one of the most successful and influential Hindi movie actresses of all time.
